Are you passionate about crafting exceptional products with a strong focus on sustainability? Lundhags invites you to be a vital part of our Product Development team. Collaborate closely with our Head of Product Development and Product Designer as you contribute to the creation of outstanding products that resonate with our commitment to sustainability. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee prototype creation to final production sample, managing design pattern, sample, fit, and grading processes for accurate sales samples (SMS) and approved pre-production samples.
  • Develop and maintain product specifications (BOM) and take full responsibility for the tech pack, including coordinating pattern measurement and design instructions.
  • Provide valuable suggestions, solutions, and changes to continually enhance product quality. Your creativity is crucial for our success.
  • Maintain up-to-date product information in relevant systems, keeping us at the forefront of industry trends.
  • Plan and conduct fit sessions for assigned products.
  • Ensure your work aligns seamlessly with Lundhags' Global Timeline, contributing to our agility and competitiveness.
  • Correspond with vendors, negotiating prices to meet LC/FOB targets.
  • Uphold optimal quality standards according to BOM/tech packs in collaboration with Lundhags' QC department, reinforcing our commitment to excellence.

The ideal candidate for this position should have:

  • A minimum of a 3-year academic degree (bachelor or similar).
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the textile/garment industry.
  • Experience in similar positions, preferably within the outdoor industry.
  • Excellent proficiency in both native and English languages (verbal and written).
  • Strong knowledge of business application tools (ERP, PLM).
  • A mindset aligned with sustainability principles.
  • Proven work experience in PLM applications and Creative/CAD software
  • Proficient in data handling.
  • Prior experience in price negotiation and vendor communication.
