Merino Wool Care

Merino wool is a great material - It’s durable, smooth and absolutely fantastic for making stylish, sustainable and functional clothes.

How do you take care of it? Since Merino wool doesn’t allow bacteria with bad odors to take hold, Merino clothing doesn’t start smelling like synthetic fabrics do when you sweat while wearing the garment. So you don’t need to wash Merino clothes as frequently as other fabrics – airing them out is often enough. Simply hang the sweater outside your tent or on your backpack while hiking and the garment will smell as good as new in no time at all.
